By accessing or using Detect Face Shape, including our AI-powered face shape detection tool and related content available at https://www.detect-faceshape.com/ (“Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1) What this service is

Detect Face Shape is a browser-based tool that helps you identify your face shape (such as Oval, Round, Square, Heart, Diamond, or Oblong) using AI-driven analysis of an image you provide. The results are intended for personal guidance only — for example, to inform hairstyle, makeup, beard, or eyewear choices — and are not medical, dermatological, psychological, biometric, or identity verification advice.

2) How the tool works

You upload or drop a clear image of your face; our system analyzes facial proportions and contours and returns an estimated face shape along with explanatory hints. We design Detect Face Shape to be fast, minimal, and privacy-focused. As described in our Privacy Policy, images are not used to personally identify you or sold to third parties.

3) Your responsibilities

  • Use Detect Face Shape only in a lawful, respectful, and non-abusive manner.
  • Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload images of other people without their consent, and never upload illegal, harmful, or explicit content.
  • Understand that results are approximations generated by algorithms and should not be treated as professional advice or as a definitive biometric classification.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, bypass security, reverse engineer, or scrape the Service or its underlying models.

4) Intellectual property

The Detect Face Shape name, logo, interface, copy, illustrations, and underlying code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproducing, redistributing, or reselling significant portions of the Service without permission is prohibited.

5) No biometric authentication or critical use

Detect Face Shape is not designed or licensed for identity verification, surveillance, employment screening, law enforcement, or any high-risk, safety-critical, or discriminatory use. You agree not to rely on or deploy our results for such purposes.

6) No warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that: (a) the detected face shape will always be accurate for every image or lighting condition, (b) the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or (c) every bug or limitation will be corrected promptly. You use Detect Face Shape at your own discretion and risk.

7) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, profits, reputation, or styling outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount (if any) you paid to use Detect Face Shape, which is generally provided free of charge.
